Two years ago Paul and I were invited to a wedding. Being the ages we are, this is a fairly common occurrence right now. I am enjoying this time in our lives. Attending weddings can be expensive, but seeing the bride’s blushing face, her stunning dress, the groom’s eyes as he sees his bride for the first time, watching first dances and hearing those toasts – it never gets old. I love all of it. When this phase of our lives is over, I will certainly miss it.
Anyway, I digress. Back to the wedding two years ago. When we looked at the bridal registry, we were not in love with anything. We could have half heartedly picked some hand towels or placemats, but we wanted to feel a little more pizazz for our gift. We decided we would hand select a gift basket. This gave us the opportunity to choose personal items that would really please the couple making it a very memorable, meaningful gift. It took more time to put together, but it was well worth it. The bride, groom, and wedding attendants were so impressed with the basket and kept asking where it was purchased. They were extremely surprised when we revealed that it was homemade. This gift went over so well, we have made gift baskets as presents ever since. Little did we know this one gift giving experience would start a new passion for myself. Everything truly happens for a reason.
So, with no further adieu I would like to introduce: Brambles, the couture gift basket, hand selected for the extra special touch. My baskets are customizable as to cater to specific needs and interests. The Bramble basket pictured below is our "Let's Go To the Movies!" basket. This includes everything you would need for both a date night in, as well as an evening out. This particular basket has popcorn, two different types of candy, a bottle of beer, a bottle of wine, a pint glass, a wine glass, a hand selected DVD, and two tickets to the movies that can be used whenever the recipients would like.
